Fees
Financial Contributions are the only way that our group will have the funds to operate. Your fee is the amount of money that we need contributed to our group in order for us to participate in and run this program. Winter programs are optional, and expensive to maintain. The cost includes coaching, music, props, show design, show registration, and equipment transportation.
These expenses, equally divided among all participants in the group, come out to approximately $500 per student for Winter Percussion, and $400 per student for Winter Guard. The amount varies based on which program the student is participating in and how many students are in the group. Please see the pledge sheet for a further explanation of these amounts. It is necessary that you commit to either donating and/or fundraising to ensure that we can begin and finish the 2024-2025 season.
Students/Parents are responsible for keeping informed of dates, or changes in dates for: rehearsals, event schedules, meeting dates, fundraising activities and other events by accessing the calendar on app.gocuttime.com.
My pledge will be paid on a schedule to meet monthly group fundraising goals set forth by the band director according to our expenses and budget. I understand that I will be responsible for paying any bank charges that the TVHS Band Boosters incur if a check/s I wrote is/are returned because of insufficient funds.
You may submit fees via cash or check (payable to TVHS Band Boosters) to the booster box outside of Mr. Cowee's office. Or you may pay online via the PayPal link on our band website: https://www.tvhsband.com/shop. Online payments will have an added 2.5%, to cover the PayPal transaction fee.
*** A deposit of $200 is due at parent meeting on December 9, 2025. If this date presents a difficulty for your family, please contact Mr. Cowee to make alternate arrangements. We plan to do a fundraiser in January, to help bring down the per student cost. The amount raised will be divided equally among all students who participate. We will also have a candy fundraiser, which will benefit the individual who sells the product.
